Marcelle Xtension Plus Mascara

In July, I had to dive in my mascara stash because I finally used up Marcelle Power Volume, which was featured in my  July Empties post, and that I never got to review because yes, when I started using it, it did provide very good volume to my lashes, but it quickly began to weight them down and it stopped holding a curl, which is a big turn-off for me - mascara-wise, of course! - because of my short and straight lashes. I am very rarely disappointed by a product from Marcelle but I have been  using their Xtension Plus Mascara for the past two months or so and I must say, it really does what it promises to do!

I usually shy away from plastic applicators because I have found that they are not the best to provide volume and length to my short lashes, but this one changed it all! This mascara features a specifically designed soft polymer brush that offer a side with a row of longer bristles which reach even the shortest lashes and stretch them from root to tip, achieving their maximum lengthening potential.

I don't think I have had such amazing results with any other lengthening mascara before - Xtension Plus makes my lashes extremely long and defined, and most importantly, it holds a curl all day, which is a real miracle when you have extremely straight lashes like me!

Of course, it does not claim to infuse volume which I don't even care for given the super nice results on my lashes, but this mascara is still not perfect - the formula is a bit too wet for my taste and it takes forever to dry but it will start to clump if you wait too long before the first and second coat, which is really weird, and it also flakes a bit through the day, although I have seen worse with other mascaras.
